Add a "Signature Track" to your template and set the initial signature to 3/4.

Signature Tracks are very useful peculiarly if your time signatures change in the piece.

I'thousand sure this will clear it up for yous...

This should be clear plenty. ;)

Btw, you can as well alter the range of the tempo track if your tempo changes aren't betwixt 60 and 180 bpm. Tin can be pretty convenient.

At that place is also a separate window for tempo and time signature (changes). But as already mentioned the tempo and time signature tracks are more convenient when there are changes in those settings.

Then, question number two (and hopefully terminal 1) if I cave a count in of two bars and agree down the sustain pedal while the click is running, the sustain doesn't get recorded, if I press the pedal down afterward the first bar starts recording, it records sustain ? 🤔

I ever include the first ii bars for count off in the projection. In other words, the music starts on bar 3. But Cubase has a cool trick in the project menu that allows you to offset that and so your offset bar of the projection will be - i. This way, fifty-fifty though you lot're really starting on bar 3, the ruler reads information technology equally bar +1.

I promise that's non likewise disruptive.

I've recently found the Offset trick also and accept baked it into my template. I have yet to find notwithstanding a way to start the time/duration of the track in such a way that when I reach the cease of the track the fourth dimension reflects the length of the piece! Anyone have whatever help in this regard?

Thanks for that @labornvain. Information technology'south a method, merely wish there was a more elegant solution like 1. beingness able to gear up an "offset" in a Ruler Track for instance, or 2. the Ruler Track being able to show the fourth dimension lapsed betwixt the locators.

Thanks for that @labornvain. It'south a method, just wish there was a more elegant solution similar ane. being able to gear up an "offset" in a Ruler Rail for instance, or 2. the Ruler Runway being able to show the time lapsed between the locators.

You lot can set offsets in Cubase in the Project Settings screen, and it sticks to whatever type of ruler you use as default. I personally like to add a 2 bar offset before the track.

EDIT: Oops, I just realized someone already mentioned this. :P
