How To Change The Low Air Pressure Sensor On A 2013 Peterbilt
-
Where is it located.
Also, the indicator lite is a large box back of the panel. Was thinking it would only be a lite mount. Is this a light and a buzzer? How exercise I exam it. How are the bulbs replaced? From the front or the dorsum. On an sometime truck, plastic gets brittle. Don't want to pull on them too much and break something.
Also, I have 2 calorie-free sockets marked Air. Is that corrrect?
Thanks for the assist. This forum is great. Been searching for well-nigh of my questions but this one came up bare.

I think the pressure switch is located at the bottom kick panel under the steering wheel. If I think correct information technology's in an aluminum block. At that place will be a few pressure switches at that place. Like for restriction light switch and stuff. At to the lowest degree I retrieve that where they are on my '89 379. Behind the plastic panels lesser drivers side

I will look for the aluminum block. It shows that on the air supply schematic in the service manual I just bought. On the 359 there is no panel on the left side of the bike, just an open hole with wiring connectors. On the right side of the bike there is a big white plastic cover. Will accept a look there.
All the same need help on my other questions. Narrowing down the listing of stuff to ready for the DOT inspection.

It will be to the right of the steering cavalcade. If it'southward there I can't help with the cablegram and light. That'southward different from a 379.
-
Open up hood, on drivers side near summit firewall you will discover a plate that has 4 bolts. Remove 4 bolts and information technology volition expose the aluminum block that will have force per unit area sensors. I don't recall exactly which one information technology is simply follow the wire from the air light on dash back to that pressure level valve.
Hogleg and noluck Thank this. -
Thanks much, Maggard359!
How do I check and/or replace the bulb in the air light. Does it unscrew out from the front?

Also, my cluster of lights take 2 marked AIR. Which position is the AIR lite supposed to be in?
-
I'1000 non certain on seedling removal I have never had to change 1. I do know the buzzer is built in to the low-cal part. Unscrewing face nut will only remove assembly. proper air location is on left.
-
Left one was correct. At present working. Thanks much.
Can yous tell me in clockwise direction what the other lights are? I accept vi on a corvette nuance. From the height, nosotros have diff lock, water (mid right), air (lower right, incorrect), green down pointer (lesser centre), cherry unmarked (lower left) then air (mid left).

Got to follow wires. 1 should be the differential lock. Like Maggard said. too hard to work on switches without lowering steering wheel. Take off plate
